I'm a wedding and event coordinator, residing in the beautiful Pacific Northwest.
I didn't set out to become a wedding coordinator. I went to school for accounting, and it didn't take long to realize what actually lit me up was taking care of people. My mom was a CNA, and watching her work made one thing very clear early on: I wasn't cut out for blood and needles, but I still wanted that same kind of hands on, take care of people work.
That pull led me toward hospitality. My first job was housekeeping in Ashland, where I learned that the small, unglamorous details are what people remember most. From there I found my way into wine, and something clicked. Even on a hard day, I knew it would turn around the moment I got to help create a happy memory for someone else. That love for wine eventually led me to pursue my WSET Level 2, passed with distinction, so I could keep deepening what I know and share it with more confidence.
When the tasting room I worked at asked me to rebuild its private events program after the pandemic slowed down, I said yes before I fully knew what I was signing up for. My first event brought together more than 100 guests, and watching it come together taught me how much I loved the puzzle of making things run smoothly behind the scenes.
From there I kept building, eventually managing a tasting room in the Willamette Valley with experiences ranging from weddings and winemaker's dinners to club releases, harvest parties, and even a fried chicken and caviar pairing. Then a friend asked me to coordinate her wedding. I'd never done one before, but she trusted me anyway, and I'm endlessly grateful she did. Her day went off without a hitch, and one of her guests noticed. That guest hired me for her own wedding, and here we are.
If I'm honest, I think some of this was always in me. My grandparents owned a bed and breakfast and vineyard in Carlton, and I like to believe that's where my love of hospitality started, long before I had a name for it.
Say Less comes from how I like to work. You tell me what you want, and I handle the rest. You bring the vision, and I take care of the timelines, vendors, logistics, and the small things nobody notices when they go right.
